One object.
One history.
Every item gets a Passport—a permanent page that collects all reports for that object across time. Ownership changes. Service happens. History accumulates. The Passport persists.
What is an Object Passport
Persistent identity for objects with verifiable history
Unique ID
Cryptographic hash based on object identifiers. Permanent, collision-resistant.
Report History
Every report for this object. Timeline view. Complete provenance chain.
Shareable
Public-safe view anyone can see. Private data stays with owner.
Persistent
Follows object across owners, vendors, service centers. Never expires.
How Passports work
When AIVERIE detects identifiers (serial numbers, engravings, unique features), we bind them to a Passport ID.
First report creates Passport
Serial number detected → Passport ID generated → Object registered
Future reports link automatically
Same serial detected → Same Passport ID → Report added to history
History accumulates value
Sales, service, ownership changes → All logged → Provenance proven
Switching cost grows
Can't migrate to competitor without losing history

Why Passports create value
History compounds. Switching costs grow with usage.
First Report
Object registered. Passport created. Identity established.
Fifth Report
Ownership chain visible. Service history proven. Provenance established.
Growing Value
Every report adds value. History can't be replicated. Switching = losing everything.
Public vs. private data
Passports show minimal public information. Private details stay with the owner.
Data minimization principle
We store only what's needed to prove provenance and integrity. Public verify pages show minimal facts. Sensitive data remains with the owner and invited collaborators.
